Vitamin helps Google and other search engines to find all of your pages by robots.txt and sitemap files. It saves all information about images, styles or any other files which were not found. If you enable Vitamin special fast 404 mode, you may speed up your site even if you have some problems with it.
Faster loading speed by server cache
Server cache is a mechanism for the temporary storage (caching) of HTML pages, to reduce server load and reduce loading lag. When somebody opens your page, that page is sent to him, but there is also created a copy of it. When second visitor opens the same page, the saved copy is sent to him without slow rebuilding.
Faster loading speed by browser cache
Browser cache is a mechanism for caching files like for example images in the browser. When someone visits the site, all images in page design are saved into browser cache. Second visited page is loaded faster, because browser does not load images which were loaded before. But it works only when using better server or with the Vitamin.
